My Fitness Pal was recommended to me by my walking partner Stacey Janoske. My Fitness Pal helps to keep track of what you were eating and how many calories you should consume, including adding in extra calories for exercise.
A few years back I lost a little bit of weight, but I have those last few pounds to go still.
It is been my goal to get back on track and get in the 120s. My Fitness Pal is great to use because it helps me keep track of all the food I’ve eaten. While my trainer has tried to get me to keep a food log for years, I just did not like to do it. With the app, it is on my phone, which I usually have with me, as well as I can scan UPC codes to put in the food I eat. It also has many meals that are offered at popular restaurants listed as well. |
The bad part about My Fitness Pal is I now know that the meals I eat at restaurants, some of my favorites at home, or even my favorite beer – Victory Golden Monkey, have way more calories than I thought. This app, hopefully, will help me stay focused and get into the 120s.
