In business, it is all about creating BUZZ – it’s a crucial component of having a successful word-of-mouth marketing campaign. There are many ways to create buzz for your business… and the more that you do, the greater chance that your business will build some powerful buzz! A few ways to create BUZZ are:
- Networking – getting out and meeting new people can spread your visibility, having more people know you and your company!
- PR – one of my favorite ways to create recognition of you and your company is to write a new release about your business, include a photo, share it with you local media. If you can get it in the paper, it will reach a large audience of people, all who will be learning more about your business.
- Promotional items – I have a soft space in my heart for promotional products, being the founder of Thread Art. Promotional items with your logo can be given to referral partners, prospects, clients, and just about anyone else… and if you pick the right product, it will be seen by people all over the place!
- Social Media – by connecting to your contact on social media sites, like LinkedIn and FaceBook, to name a few, you can maximize your efforts by sharing what’s going on in your business with all your contacts!
