In business, it is all about creating BUZZ – it’s a crucial component of having a successful word-of-mouth marketing campaign. There are many ways to create buzz for your business… and the more that you do, the greater chance that your business will build some powerful buzz! A few ways to create BUZZ are:

  • Networking – getting out and meeting new people can spread your visibility, having more people know you and your company!
  • PR – one of my favorite ways to create recognition of you and your company is to write a new release about your business, include a photo, share it with you local media. If you can get it in the paper, it will reach a large audience of people, all who will be learning more about your business.
  • Promotional items – I have a soft space in my heart for promotional products, being the founder of Thread Art. Promotional items with your logo can be given to referral partners, prospects, clients, and just about anyone else… and if you pick the right product, it will be seen by people all over the place!
  • Social Media – by connecting to your contact on social media sites, like LinkedIn and FaceBook, to name a few,  you can maximize your efforts by sharing what’s going on in your business with all your contacts!

These are just 4 ways you can create BUZZ – what are some other ways you create BUZZ for your business?

Great ideas Tiffanie. I also like to do speaking engagements to my target market. It’s a wonderful way to share what you do, why you do it and who you help. It always helps me create buzz.

Like Melissa, I also enjoy interacting with my target market. I stay involved in an association where my target market are the only members. Mining that vein! A strong testimonial from one member helps me gain clients exponentially as the members trust each others recommendations.

I joined the chamber and I’m making sure to participate as a member and to take on a leadersip role !

Ribbon cuttings and mixers are wonderful ways to meet people , and the event with the attendees smiling , happy faces are always in the paper!
